1. Our approach
Cities and utilities need assurance that respects public safety and live services. Codec Networks works on four principles:
- Safety first: plan plant and field work with operators and ICCC teams; passive first, active only by agreement and never during peak demand.
- Strong boundaries: plant, command centre, field, citizen and office networks separated; integrator and contractor access brokered and recorded.
- Assume ransomware: make ICCC platforms, SCADA configurations and citizen portals recoverable and rehearse running without them.
- Prove it to auditors and citizens: findings mapped to CERT-In Directions and government-entity guidelines, NCIIPC, IEC 62443, ISO/IEC 27001, DPDP and MeitY CCTV requirements.
2. Mapping threats to services
The table maps the 18 threats identified in Document 4 of this set to the Codec Networks services that help mitigate them.
